Job summary

The role requires a strong understanding of procurement processes, supply chain management, and compliance across sourcing activities.

The successful candidate will conduct supplier audits, negotiate contracts, manage POs, and develop compliance programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3+ years in sourcing or procurement.
• Strong knowledge of compliance regulations and industry standards (ISO, FDA).
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in procurement software and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Source supplier identification and evaluation, including capabilities, pricing, and reliability.
• Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with policies and standards.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to improve procurement processes.
• Manage the procurement process from requisition to PO issuance and delivery.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing to achieve cost savings and better terms.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve quality or delivery issues.
• Develop and manage supplier scorecards and reporting.
• Ensure sourcing activities comply with internal policies and regulations.
• Develop and implement compliance programs and training for procurement staff and suppliers.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to mitigate risk.
• Support sourcing audit requirements as needed.
• Maintain accurate supplier records, contracts, and compliance documentation.
• Analyze sourcing data to identify trends and opportunities for improvements.
• Prepare management reports on supplier performance, compliance, and metrics.
• Conduct market research and promote small business outreach and growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with production, QA and finance to align sourcing with goals.
• Participate in cross-functional teams for new product development and initiatives.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
