Job summary

Novus Foods seeks a Strategic Sourcing Manager to own co-manufacturing strategy and end-to-end commodity strategy for a defined portfolio of direct spend categories. You will partner with Finance, Operations, and R&D to drive P&L outcomes and supply chain resilience.

This role requires deep category expertise, strong quantitative skills, and the executive presence to present defensible positions to C-suite stakeholders and lead cross-functional negotiations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of direct procurement or commodity management experience; food/CPG strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to build and present cost models and PPV reporting to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own co-manufacturing strategy including sourcing, contracting, and performance management.
• Own category-level commodity strategy with multi-year cost models and scenario planning.
• Monitor commodity markets and translate price movements into quantified P&L impact for Finance and leadership.
• Lead supplier negotiations for pricing and contract terms; ensure coverage and address gaps with leadership.
• Build and maintain commodity cost models and PPV tracking; present inflation drivers and risk exposure to stakeholders.
• Identify and actively manage supply chain risk with contingency plans.
• Execute sourcing events (RFQ/RFP) and evaluate total cost of ownership across functions.
• Manage supplier relationships through business reviews and accountability for cost, quality, service, innovation.
• Leverage AI/ML tools and data platforms to enhance cost visibility and forecasting.
