Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of progressive procurement or supply chain experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field.
• Experience in commodity management and supplier negotiations.
• Proven success delivering cost savings, cost avoidance, and supplier performance improvements.
• Experience across multiple manufacturing facilities preferred.
• Strong financial acumen with understanding of COGS and working capital.
• Experience with ERP systems, procurement analytics, and data-driven decision-making.
• Demonstrated leadership with track record of developing high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement and commodity strategies aligned with business goals.
• Lead sourcing and market strategies for key commodities (cocoa, sugar, dairy, oils, packaging).
• Monitor markets and manage pricing volatility, inflation, supply risk, and cost exposure.
• Manage material budgets, forecasts, cost models, and savings initiatives.
• Oversee purchasing to support production schedules and inventories.
• Strengthen supplier performance through contracts, negotiations, and risk mitigation.
• Develop contingency and dual-sourcing strategies to protect supply continuity.
• Ensure supplier compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with Planning, Operations, Logistics, Finance, R&D, Sales, and Marketing.
• Drive procurement process improvements, ERP data integrity, and purchasing discipline.
• Lead and coach the procurement team and provide performance visibility.
