Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Category/Procurement Specialist to develop and execute category strategies aligned with business goals. You will manage supplier relationships, perform performance reviews, and support RFP processes to drive cost savings across packaging categories.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years in sourcing or procurement, with strong Excel and ERP experience. Travel up to 10% is possible, and you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize

Bachelor's degree required.
At least 2 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or a related field.
Strong relationship management skills and ability to build trust across all organizational levels.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/sourcing systems such as Oracle.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute category strategies aligned with business goals and procurement objectives.
Manage day-to-day supplier relationships, including performance reviews, order support, and issue resolution/escalation.
Support RFP/bid processes through data gathering, bid analysis, and supplier communication.
Negotiate supplier contracts, pricing, service levels, and terms.
Collaborate on transformation, sustainability, and cost-savings initiatives.
Maintain category, item, and pricing data in ERP systems such as Oracle, Prodika, and Aire.
