Job summary

Lippert is seeking a Strategic Sourcing professional to support international vendor and materials sourcing. The role is remote and reports to the CURT facility in Eau Claire, WI.

Expect collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, on-budget product launches and vendor compliance. Ideal candidates have a BS/Associate degree or equivalent experience, strong MS Office skills, and a background in manufacturing sourcing or RV/marine products is a plus.

Qualifications

• BS is recommended but not required; relevant experience considered.
• Experience in sourcing for manufacturing or RV/marine a plus.
• Strong computer literacy with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Complete Supplier Evaluation and Selection.
• Develop an approved source list (ASL).
• Be the liaison between Lippert and the Suppliers to launch new product on time within Budget or price targets.
• Negotiation and Contract Management.
• Cost optimization – cost reduction.
• Market Analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and Lippert Vendor Compliance standards.
• Manage the vendor’s performance: cost, quality, delivery, service and compliance.

Strategic Sourcing

The Lippert Automotive Aftermarket team is hiring a Strategic Sourcing professional to add to their team to assist in international vendor and materials sourcing. This position is remote and report into our CURT facility in Eau Claire, WI.

Responsibilities:

• Complete Supplier Evaluation and Selection
• Develop an approved source list (ASL). A curated roster of pre-vetted vendors who meet your organization’s standards for quality, reliability, compliance, and capability
• Be the liaison between Lippert and the Suppliers to successful launch new product on time within Budget or price targets.
• Negotiation and Contract Management
• Cost optimization – cost reduction
• Market Analysis
• Works directly with cross-functional teams leading collaboration and adoption of Lippert Vendor Compliance standards.
• Manage the vendor’s performance. Cost, Quality, Delivery, Service and compliance

Qualifications:

• BS is recommended but not required. Historical working career background will be considered.
• Towing, RV and or Marine products background a plus but not required.
• Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft based software utilities.
• Sourcing in a production environment

Preferred Education and Experience:

• College Degree (Associates or Bachelors)
• Buying or sales experience
• Demonstrated relationship building with key internal teams

Travel:

Travel independently, domestically as well as globally up to 10% of time.
