Job summary

Masemp in Athol, MA is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Analyst to join our team. You will develop and execute sourcing strategies for materials and services to support production needs.

The role requires 5+ years in sourcing, strong negotiation and analytics, and experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP/Oracle). You will lead RFQs/RFPs, manage supplier relations, and drive continuous cost savings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of strategic sourcing, procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field, or equivalent education/experience.
• Experience sourcing raw materials, components, and production-related services.
• MS Office Suite with advanced Excel skills; ERP/MRP systems (SAP or Oracle preferred). Power BI/Tableau a plus.
• Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing principles, supplier management, and total cost of ownership concepts.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, project management, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• APICS/ASCM, CPSM, CPM, or other supply chain certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to source high-quality materials, components, and services.
• Issue purchase orders and manage procurement activities to support production requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify sourcing opportunities, negotiate supplier agreements, improve supplier performance, mitigate risk, and drive cost savings.
• Lead RFQs, RFPs, supplier evaluations, and contract negotiations.
• Cultivate strong supplier relationships and maintain ERP records.
• Analyze spend, supplier, inventory, and market data; develop executive dashboards and reports for leadership.

• 5+ years of strategic sourcing, procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience sourcing raw materials, components, and production-related services
• Technical proficiency including MS Office Suite with advanced MS Excel skills, ERP/MRP systems (SAP or Oracle preferred); Power BI or Tableau experience a plus
• Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing principles, supplier management, and total cost of ownership concepts
• Excellent negotiation, communication, project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• APICS/ASCM, CPSM, CPM, or other relevant supply chain certification a plus

For the Strategic Sourcing Analyst position your duties will include:

• Develop and execute strategies to source high-quality materials, components, and services
