We are actively seeking an experiencedStrategicSolutionsSales Specialist forEnterprise Linux,A&DKey Accounts, toleadourEnterprise Linuxbusiness growth initiatives. This position will be focused on working with our Tier 2 and Tier 3 system integrator customerbaseand the US Air Force and US Navy withinour A&D customer vertical.The chosen candidate willbe involved inidentifying, influencing, developing, and capturing high-valueenterprise Linuxopportunities within the sector.
This position willbe part of the U.S. A&D Field Sales Organization and report to the Director of Salesfor this segment.
Position Overview
Wind River seeks a highly motivated and experiencedseniorlevel salesexecutive to join our elite sales team for our innovative Enterprise and Edge Linux product,eLxrPro. This role is crucial in driving the adoption of our cutting-edge Linux and cloud solution and positioning Wind River as a leader in the enterprise Linux market, with a particular focus on the Aerospace and Defense sectors. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in enterprise software sales within the Linux and cloud ecosystem and excel at building relationships with key stakeholders in large organizations, especially within theU.S.Aerospace and DefenseTier 2 / Tier 3 system integratorcustomersand theU.S.Department of Defense (Air Force and Navy)segments.
Your opportunity is to join as a key member of our A&D Sales team to be responsible for developing newEnterprise Linuxbusiness opportunities with ourKey Account andDODcustomers. This position will interface internally with Account Managers (AM), Field Application Engineers (FAE), Legal, Contracts,Services Delivery personnel to scope and develop Statements of Work (SOW) / Request for Proposal (RFP) responses. You will also interface with key customer personnel who are driving these programs. In addition to the sales organization, you will be collaborating with and have the support of Product Management, Marketing, Engineering, Solution Architects, and the Wind River Executive team. You should possess strong business acumen, industry segment acumen, knowledge of product development processes and software life cycles, and conversational knowledge of today’s transformative technologies in the embedded space.

The annual base salary range for this role’s listed grade level is $290,000 to $385,000 OTE for Colorado, New York, and New Jersey residents, and $309,000 to $400,000 OTE for SF Bay Area, Greater Seattle, NYC, and Washington, DC, residents. Salary ranges are determined through interviews and a review of the education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities of the applicant, and equity with other team members. Employees in this role are also eligible for the following benefits in accordance with the terms of the Company's plans: health, dental, vision insurance, life insurance, flex time off, eligibility to enroll in 401k, and 12 paid holidays
