Job summary

OP RaaS is seeking a seasoned Solution Architect to lead the development of end-to-end solution architectures at the business unit level. The role collaborates with IT stakeholders to ensure robust technical foundations and seamless integration across teams and domains.

Responsibilities include guiding architects, managing non-functional requirements, and aligning with FedEx best practices. The candidate will mentor peers and influence architectural direction in a distributed systems environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of IT or engineering experience.
• Experience with Sparx EA and UML.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Experience with architecture principles, patterns, and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of end-to-end solution architecture strategies for initiatives across teams and domains.
• Maintain architectural runway and robust technical foundations for rapid feature creation.
• Collaborate with architects to validate feasibility and align with standards.
• Oversee non-functional requirements, performance, security, and maintainability.
• Define delivery approaches for service design and delivery with tooling and partnerships.
• Identify technical risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Monitor emerging technologies for alignment with FedEx standards.
• Mentor IT architects to grow leadership and execution skills.
