Job summary
SAIC is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to join the Solutions & Technology group. The role is preferred to be based out of Chantilly, VA but hybrid options in Reston or Arlington, VA are available. Reporting to the Intel Space CTO, you will translate government requirements into compelling technical solutions and drive proposal success.
The ideal candidate has 8+ years in systems engineering or architecture, holds a U.S. passport, and possesses an active TS/SCI clearance with poly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
- 8+ years of experience in systems engineering, solutions architecture, or a related discipline
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph eligibility
- Experience in defense government programs and proposals
Responsibilities
- Lead technical solution development for government captures and proposals
- Author technical volumes and solution narratives from concept to completion
- Decompose complex government requirements into winning architectures
- Collaborate with capture managers, BD leads, and SMEs to shape strategies
- Develop solution architectures, roadmaps, and implementation plans
- Engage with government customers during pre-RFP shaping activities
- Support cost estimates with technical bases and WBS
- Stay aware of competitive landscape and government priorities in Intel domain
