Job summary

Molex is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to shape technology design and delivery across the enterprise. You will reduce risk, guide critical decisions, and ensure scalable solutions while collaborating across sites and teams.

In this role you will enable engineers and product teams to make strong, independent decisions, reduce escalations, and align solutions with enterprise standards and direction.

Qualifications

• Strong background in network, infrastructure, and security.
• Experience operating in complex, global environments.
• Ability to evaluate tradeoffs and make balanced, practical decisions.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to influence without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Help teams clearly frame problems before jumping to solutions.
• Guide architectural decisions across network, infrastructure, cloud, and security.
• Ensure tradeoffs are understood across cost, risk, performance, and scalability.
• Step in on decisions with enterprise impact or long-term consequences.
• Enable engineers, site IT/OT, and product teams to make strong decisions independently.
• Reduce unnecessary escalation through clear guidance and reusable patterns.
• Teach how to think, not just what to do.
• Engage on high-impact or high-risk initiatives.
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise direction and standards.
• Manage vendor relationships and support contract and service discussions.
