Job summary

Molex is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to shape how technology is designed and delivered across our organization. You will help teams frame problems, guide architectural decisions across network, infrastructure, cloud, and security, and ensure solutions scale, perform, and last.

This role spans sites and teams, guiding critical decisions, reducing risk, and enabling engineers and product teams to act with independent, reusable patterns while staying aligned with enterprise standards

Qualifications

• Strong background in network, infrastructure, and security.
• Experience operating in complex, global environments.
• Ability to evaluate tradeoffs and make balanced, practical decisions.
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to influence without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Help teams clearly frame problems before jumping to solutions
• Guide architectural decisions across network, infrastructure, cloud, and security
• Ensure tradeoffs are understood across cost, risk, performance, and scalability
• Step in on decisions with enterprise impact or long-term consequences
• Enable engineers, site IT/OT, and product teams to make strong decisions independently
• Reduce unnecessary escalation through clear guidance and reusable patterns
• Teach how to think, not just what to do
• Engage on high-impact or high-risk initiatives
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise direction and standards
• Manage vendor relationships and support contract and service discussions
