Job summary

BGE, Inc. is seeking a Solution Architect I to guide clients through data, technology, and process improvements. You will work at the intersection of business consulting, solution architecture, data strategy, and digital transformation.

The role focuses on enterprise data, system integration, GIS, BI, asset management, and cloud-based solutions, collaborating with public and private sector clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• Experience in technology consulting or digital transformation.
• Experience leading client-facing discussions and translating requirements into solutions.
• Experience designing integrations between enterprise platforms.
• Working knowledge of SQL, data modeling, reporting, and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Lead workshops, discovery sessions, and stakeholder interviews to understand objectives.
• Translate requirements into scalable technology solutions and roadmaps.
• Own the overall solution architecture and design approach.
• Design data environments, data governance, and information architectures.
• Create integrated solutions spanning GIS, ERP, CRM, cloud, BI, and enterprise apps.
• Develop data models, integration strategies, and governance frameworks.
• Establish standards and patterns for scalable, secure, maintainable solutions.
• Provide technical leadership to analysts, developers, and project teams.
• Collaborate across GIS, engineering, and business stakeholders.
• Guide data migrations, system integrations, automation, and reporting.
• Develop APIs, data pipelines, dashboards, and enterprise apps with teams.
• Support QA to ensure alignment with requirements and architecture.
