Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Substantial professional experience designing and delivering production software, including architecture/technical design leadership.
• Strong hands-on foundation in modern web and backend engineering, API design, data modeling, and distributed systems.
• Ability to design for security, performance, scalability, resilience, and observability.
• Experience with cloud platforms, automated delivery, containers, and operational support.
• Proven ability to translate complex business problems into actionable technical options.

Responsibilities

• Own solution designs for products and initiatives, including APIs, data flows, and security.
• Guide engineers through design and implementation, review significant changes, and ensure fidelity to architecture.
• Participate in discovery, backlog refinement, and sprint planning for architectural direction.
• Present architecture to executives and teams with strategic and technical depth.
• Define acceptance criteria for functional and nonfunctional requirements such as availability and performance.
• Own production readiness, deployment, monitoring, and incident response.
