Job summary

Painted is seeking a Social Media & Content Manager in Los Angeles to own the brand’s social calendar and bring it to life with creative, platform-native content. You’ll craft concepts, shoot and edit short-form video, write copy, and adapt assets for TikTok and Instagram.

You’ll track trends, collaborate across teams, review performance data, and refine the content plan to maximize engagement and brand storytelling in a fast-paced beauty environment.

Qualifications

• Experience managing social media for a brand or business.
• Strong TikTok and Instagram instincts for short-form storytelling.
• Ability to take ideas from brief to published post with a consistent schedule.
• Organized and proactive, using results to improve work.
• Beauty industry experience is a plus, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Own the social content calendar, from channel strategy and ideas through to planning, publishing and optimisation.
• Create content hands-on: develop concepts, capture and edit short-form video, write copy, and adapt creative for each platform.
• Keep close to trends, creators and culture, turning relevant opportunities into original content that fits the brand.
• Review performance, learn from the data, and refine the content mix and posting plan.
• Collaborate with the wider team to turn launches, campaigns and everyday moments into engaging social stories.
