As a Strategic Services Sourcing Manager, you will take the lead in managing negotiations and developing strong business relationships with external Service Supplier companies on behalf of Agilent’s customers. You will be responsible for building effective and profitable agreements, transforming broad concepts into a structured Strategic Services Supplier Management Program.

In this role, you will be a key contributor to the solution design of local and multi-partner projects, where Agilent partners with Service Supplier companies to deliver complex, high-impact customer solutions. Your strategic mindset and ability to navigate multifaceted partnerships will be essential to driving value and innovation across our service sourcing initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Managing relationships with Service Providers and Contractors in Italy on behalf of our customers.
  • Ensuring legal compliance and alignment with regional sourcing strategies.
  • Evaluating supplier performance and leading selection and negotiation processes to improve service levels and margins.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers by having a customer first mindset.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of sourcing strategies and supplier programs.
  • Handling supplier documentation, contracts, and data within your territory.
  • Collaborating with Service Sales, Project Managers, and Customer Contact Center to maintain accurate supplier information.
  • Ensuring strong cooperation with local Service Managers.
  • Traveling up to 25% as required.
Qualifications

We are looking for a motivated individual with the following background:

  • Solid understanding of service business operations, including delivery and supplier management, with the ability to translate customer needs into technical solutions.
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in service management.
  • Familiarity with service provider business models; laboratory experience is a plus.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills to drive results and meet objectives.
  • Fluent in Italian and English.

You bring experience in quality control and compliance environments and show a genuine passion for customer satisfaction and service excellence. You collaborate naturally across teams and functions, with a proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive results in a dynamic, international setting.

This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
