We’re looking for a curious, analytical, and strategic thinker to join our Strategic Services team. This role sits at the intersection of real estate, market research, planning, design, and development strategy—using data and insight to help answer the questions that shape projects early on:
As an experienced Strategic Services Analyst, you’ll lead research and advisory assignments that inform planning, design, investment, and development decisions. You’ll dig into markets, demographics, economics, and development feasibility; translate that information into a clear point of view; and work alongside planners, landscape architects, designers, and clients to turn analysis into actionable strategies.
This is a hands‑on role for someone with 4–6 years of experience who is comfortable moving between spreadsheets and strategy, independently leading assignments, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and communicating directly with clients.
Design Workshop is a 100% employee‑owned landscape architecture, planning and urban design firm shaping resilient, meaningful places where people and environments thrive. Founded in 1969, we practice globally from seven studios across the United States. Combining research, collaborative spirit and innovative design, we transform vision into measurable impact and places of enduring legacy. Our mission is to turn ideas into impact with collaborative spirit, overcoming complexity through design, process and purpose.
The Kind of Person Who Will Thrive Here
You’re interested in more than producing the analysis—you want to understand what it means.
You’re the person who looks at a market study and asks the next question. You enjoy figuring out why one place works and another doesn’t, how changing demographics might affect a development strategy, whether an ambitious idea can work financially, and how research can lead to a smarter plan.
You’re comfortable with numbers, but you also know that the best strategy comes from connecting those numbers to people, places, design, and real‑world decision‑making.
