Job summary

NBCUniversal Local Television stations in Orlando, Tampa and Fort Myers seek a Senior Financial Analyst to support daily financial operations and ensure accuracy of financial records.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will partner with FP&A, Controllership, Operations & Technology, AP and Vendor Management to drive analysis, planning and close processes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of finance experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; MS Office Suite.
• Experience with SAP and BPC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly close activities including journal entries (accruals and reclasses), variance analysis, AP processes.
• Build, maintain, and analyze financial forecasts, budgets, and estimates.
• Monitor actual vs. budgeted spend; identify risks and opportunities for leadership.
• Prepare consolidated close reporting packages and variance analyses.
• Support capital planning and reporting with project pacing and close-outs.
• Serve as primary finance contact for AP activities and vendor management.
• Collaborate with local operations and leadership to provide financial insights.
• Assist with ad-hoc analyses and process improvements to enhance reporting.
