Polar Semiconductor LLC is seeking a Buyer in Bloomington, MN to purchase goods and services for in-house production of differentiated power and sensor technologies. The role includes supplier research, price negotiations, inventory management, and budgeting, with in-person training followed by a hybrid schedule. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, strong communication, and ERP/Microsoft Office experience, with a salary range of $72,500–$90,000 and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated abilities in negotiating and purchasing procedures.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, with high attention to detail.
• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing, and technical applications to semiconductor manufacturing, preferred
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and perform under pressure.
• Experience in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with ERP software systems is a plus, but not required

Responsabilités

• Meet purchasing requirements per Polar policy.
• Source items at competitive prices from dependable manufacturers.
• Manage purchase orders through full cycle to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Serve as main contact for internal and external customers.
• Coordinate PO status and changes with internal teams.
• Maintain purchase orders using department tracking system.
• Support quality, safety, CQI, 5S, yield management & cost containment.
• Perform other duties as required.
