Job summary

Amazon Senior Technical Program Manager for Differentiated Security leads a high-visibility program addressing systemic security challenges surfaced through acquisitions and partner engagements. You will define strategy, drive cross-functional delivery across security engineering, business security, and infrastructure, and influence senior leaders to turn complex problems into scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent.
• 6 years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience.
• Experience leading highly technical programs involving infrastructure, complex systems, systems engineering.
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
• Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design.
• Knowledge of information security principles, including risk management frameworks and security control domains (e.g., identity and access management, vulnerability management, incident response, cloud security).

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of a security solutions program from signal identification through proof-of-concept, investment pitch, and transition to a funded long-term owner.
• Define program strategy, build prioritization mechanisms, and create measurable success criteria that keep a portfolio of concurrent initiatives on track.
• Drive cross-functional delivery across security engineering, business security, and infrastructure teams – often in environments with non-standard technology stacks.
• Write strategic narratives and present trade-offs, progress, and investment recommendations to Directors and VPs.
• Build mechanisms such as intake rubrics, initiative registries, and stage-gate frameworks that make the program repeatable and scalable beyond any single person.
