Qualifications

• Understanding of manufacturing principles, disciplines, and techniques.
• Ability to read and comprehend basic technical/engineering drawings.
• Advanced computer proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Knowledge of production inputs, outputs, raw materials, waste, quality control, costs, and related manufacturing techniques.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders to suppliers per system requirements and negotiated pricing per contracts and benchmarked quoting.
• Manage procurement tasks including order acknowledgements, SAP updates, RFQs, BOMs, and print packages for large projects.
• Track and report on supplier performance metrics including on-time delivery and expedite requests.
• Review invoices for discrepancies and coordinate resolution with suppliers and accounting.
• Manage quality defect issues, supplier returns, and credits in coordination with PUQ.
• Identify and implement cost savings opportunities for catalog and drawing parts with Central Purchasing.
