Job summary

Qualifications

• 2- or 4-year degree preferred.
• Knowledge of inventory management methods.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to learn and leverage systems.

Responsibilities

• Order supplies and ingredients using SAP system.
• Set up MRP production models and ordering parameters.
• Manage portion of $18MM RPW inventory to meet targets.
• Research and reduce material outages.
• Balance internal and external inventory for service.
• Provide absentee coverage for other Material Planners.
• Collaborate with R&D and Production on projects.
• Partner with HQMM and Procurement on strategies.
• Reduce RPW inventories through process improvements.
• Participate in internal project teams.
• Provide material information at daily DDS meetings.
• Develop relationships with internal and external customers.
• Assist Customer Service with scheduling and orders in Matrics.
