Job summary

Diversicare Healthcare Services, LLC is seeking a Director of Workers’ Compensation, Safety & Loss Prevention to lead the safety culture across 43 centers in five states. You will own the claims lifecycle, drive proactive injury prevention, and ensure regulatory excellence with executive dashboards for risk reduction.

You will collaborate with TPAs and carriers, manage audits, training, and inspections, and travel up to 30% to engage facilities and teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in risk management, healthcare safety, and multi-state workers' compensation.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Deep knowledge of multi-state workers' compensation laws and OSHA standards.
• Certifications such as CSP or ARM are a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% for center visits.

Responsibilities

• Direct the full workers' compensation claims lifecycle, from reporting to closure.
• Collaborate with TPAs, carriers, and legal teams on cost-containment strategies.
• Lead enterprise safety initiatives and ensure OSHA compliance across all centers.
• Translate claims data into dashboards for executives and regional QAPI teams.
• Conduct audits, deliver training, and manage regulatory inspections with corrective actions.
