Job summary

NiSource in Merrillville/Columbus is seeking a Senior Strategy & Risk Consultant to join the Strategy and Risk team. You will perform analyses, build Excel models, and prepare materials for Risk Management Committee and Strategy Council.

You will translate complex data into clear presentations for senior leadership, test methodologies with SMEs, and help drive risk and insurance programs. The role requires 4–6 years of relevant experience, a related Bachelor's degree, and strong Excel/PowerPoint

Qualifications

Experience using Excel to analyze data.
Experience applying economic, statistic, and econometric concepts/methods.
4-6 years of relevant experience (e.g., corporate strategy, accounting, financial planning, risk, etc.).
Proven ability to produce accurate work with minimal supervision.
Strong problem solving and project coordination skills.
Advanced MS Office and data handling capabilities.

Responsibilities

Performs industry, competitor, and customer analyses; monitor and evaluate impact of trends.
Builds models in Excel to analyze data and financial decisions.
Leverages risk reporting information and uses risk management tools.
Identifies issues, compares data to draw conclusions, and proposes actions.
Assists with materials for Risk Management Committee and Strategy Council.
Organizes data for internal and external reporting and builds business cases.
