Job summary

The City of El Paso Texas is seeking a qualified professional to coordinate and manage the acquisition of rights-of-way, easements, and property interests, and to direct utility coordination for City infrastructure and capital projects.

Responsibilities include negotiation with property owners, coordination with utility companies and consultants, and ensuring timely, compliant, and cost-effective project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• Four years of experience in right-of-way acquisition, utility coordination, or real estate transactions.
• Two years of experience involving property acquisition practices and utility relocation coordination.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage acquisition of rights-of-way, easements, and property interests.
• Direct utility coordination for City infrastructure projects.
• Negotiate with property owners and coordinate with utility companies.
• Prepare reports, analyses, and cost estimates; maintain records and compliance.
• Interface with City departments and external parties to integrate needs into schedules.
