Job summary

The UC Davis Health Heart & Vascular Center in Sacramento seeks a Business Analyst (Revenue Cycle HC Analyst 3) to analyze data, develop processes, and monitor fiscal operations across the Center. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in revenue cycle information systems or implementation teams.
• Billing and accounts receivable experience.
• Experience with contracts and reimbursement terms.
• Experience with Clearinghouse, Contract Management, and Patient Accounting systems.
• Knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle practices and third-party payers.
• Intermediate skills in report development and healthcare software tools.
• Advanced Excel and ability to create executive-level PowerPoint reports.
• Strong communication and leadership to advise management.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain accuracy.
• Ability to develop and implement changes to systems/policies.
• Knowledge of hospital billing and government payers.
