Job summary

Hills Bank and Trust Company seeks a Retail Research and Support Specialist to assist Branch staff with account inquiries and product questions, delivering accurate, timely responses and maintaining strong customer service standards.

In this role you will research requests, manage levy and garnishments tracking, and collaborate with multiple departments to improve processes and support Retail operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and experience in retail banking and/or operations at a community bank or equivalent.
• Must take initiative, make decisions, accept responsibility and have the ability to work independently.
• Must be able to work under stress and handle difficult situations.
• This job requires skills needed in a typical office environment. This includes computer skills, as well as utilization of office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Possess in depth knowledge of the Bank's retail products and services to assist Branch staff with account and product questions.
• Establish and promote positive interactions with Branch staff and assist in investigating customer complaints or escalated issues.
• Provide helpful service and support to enhance customer experience and collaboration among Retail departments.
• Triaging questions and routing issues to appropriate internal teams when necessary.
• Research requests: complete and ensure accurate responses and proper tracking of levy and garnishments.
