Job summary

The Children’s Place is seeking a Planner, Accessories to oversee financial and merchandise planning for Secaucus, NJ. You will forecast sales, margins, and inventory, identifying opportunities and risks with the merchandising partner.

Responsibilities include creating monthly plans, recapping performance, replenishment, and reporting while ensuring accurate size curves and pre-packs. A Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in retail planning are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3+ years of experience in retail planning and analysis.
• Strong analytical mindset and financial acumen.
• Proven ability to identify opportunities and risks.
• Excellent organization and detail orientation.
• Proficient in planning systems and Excel/Office.

Responsibilities

• Create monthly financial plans at division and category level.
• Reforecast sales, gross margin, and inventory for periods.
• Recap end-of-season performance by division/category/season.
• Conduct stock replenishment by style/color/size.
• Plan key items for basic styles (sales, margin, inventory).
• Generate daily/monthly/quarterly/seasonal sales reports.
• Manage inventory flow on fashion receipts.
• Develop size curves and pre-pack definitions.
• Partner with merchant to support the buy process.
