Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 4+ years of experience in merchandise planning, allocation, or financial analysis.
• Strong analytical, financial modeling, and Excel skills.
• Proven ability to translate data into insights and influence cross-functional partners.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop preseason financial strategy for the department and connect to Madewell goals.
• Build preseason plans for sales, margin, and inventory by department using historical data and trends.
• Summarize plans and present recommendations at investment and line reviews.
• Provide weekly in-season updates on sales, margin, and inventory versus forecast.
• Collaborate with Merchandising Allocation and Assortment Planning to optimize product flow and pricing.
