Job summary

Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE) Office for Research Administration is seeking a Research Portfolio Manager to oversee a portfolio of Principal Investigators across the full lifecycle of sponsored and non-grant research funding. You will coordinate proposals, post‑award management, and ensure compliance with sponsor and Harvard policies.

Qualifications

• 5 years of related experience in accounting, finance, or research administration.
• Cover letter and resume submission required.

Responsibilities

• Provide PIs with information and advice in proposal development, submission and post-award management.
• Ensure compliance with sponsor, donor, and Harvard policies across funded projects.
• Review budgets and determine adherence to terms and conditions.
• Monitor grants and contracts for expenditures within budget and deadlines.
• Collaborate with HGSE ORA, Central OSP and Finance for special projects.
