Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with agency partners, community stakeholders, study participants, and individuals with diverse backgrounds.
• Experience collecting and analyzing social science data using qualitative and/or quantitative methods.
• Experience with program evaluation.
• Proficient in data gathering tools (Qualtrics, Google Forms) and analytical software (STATA, R; Dedoose/NVIVO/Atlas.ti).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborative work within a university setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead practice research activities: gather and analyze data, summarize information, and engage with partners to interpret results.
• Oversee protocols and systems for IRB-related processes and data handling, including recruitment and consent; ensure secure data storage.
• Coordinate with BASSC and UC Berkeley partners to align research with workforce development and content translation for professional programming.
