Job summary

Arizona State University Foundation seeks a Student Strategic Research Analyst to conduct in-depth corporate philanthropy research and support events and donor engagement. The role partners with ASU Foundation for a New American University’s Global Corporate Advancement team to guide corporate engagement.

You will help maintain records in Salesforce, prepare briefing materials, and collaborate on outreach for corporate donors and prospects.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer relations and communication skills.
• Willingness to research a variety of topics and learn quickly.
• Ability to prepare and deliver presentations to the team.
• Experience with Salesforce is a plus; strong MS Office skills are required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Discretion with confidential information and professional integrity.
• Ability to set priorities, stay organized and be flexible.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research on executives and corporations using confidential files and public sources.
• Form market scans and landscape analyses to identify trends in corporate philanthropy.
• Coordinate corporate tours and events, handling logistics and materials.
• Assist in high-level events, including donor announcements and campus visits.
• Monitor current events and share pertinent information with the team.
• Prepare presentations, reports, and graphic materials for prospective donors.
• Develop outreach materials and engagement proposals for donors and prospects.
• Log engagements in Salesforce and track gift opportunities.
• Provide strategic insights on the team’s portfolio and potential synergies.
• Serve as liaison between Corporate Philanthropy and ASU units for donor engagement.
