Responsibilities

• Oversee the institute's operations, including strategic planning and resource management
• Lead execution of the institute's mission by aligning daily operations with long-term goals
• Design and implement operational initiatives to enhance research productivity, efficiency, and impact
• Manage large-scale, cross-functional projects with stakeholder coordination and outcome evaluation
• Monitor progress using data analytics and KPIs to drive improvements
• Develop partnerships to expand research portfolio and funding opportunities
• Collaborate with HR to oversee staffing strategies and professional development
• Collaborate with IT and Facilities for space planning and infrastructure upgrades
• Ensure compliance with IRB, IACUC, export controls and other regulations
• Lead budgeting and financial reporting with strategic finance partners
