Job summary

Indiana University Bloomington Libraries seeks a dynamic Research and Collections Librarian to lead development, assessment, and promotion of collections for the Kelley School of Business and the O’Neill School. This role shapes access to resources in business, public policy, government affairs, and sustainability.

You will join a three-librarian team, manage budgets, and engage with faculty and students to align resources with curricular priorities and evolving research needs.

Qualifications

• ALA-accredited graduate degree in library or information science or international equivalent.
• Interest in working with business and public affairs library patrons.
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team.
• Demonstrated interest or experience with promoting collections and services.

Responsibilities

• Lead collection strategy for Business and Public & Environmental Affairs.
• Assess collections and services to identify gaps and opportunities.
• Collaborate with faculty to align resources with curricular goals.
• Provide research consultations to students and researchers.
• Promote collections and services through outreach and instruction.
• Participate in library-wide initiatives and campus events.
