Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field; Master’s preferred; transcript required.

Responsibilities

• Drafts, reviews, and negotiates agreements against templates and fallback positions.
• Identifies terms that create institutional risk; negotiates or escalates as appropriate.
• Executes agreements within delegated authority and documents negotiation history.
• Advises investigators on agreement terms, timelines, and post-execution obligations.
• Issues and amend subawards with flow-down provisions and other requirements.
• Confirms subrecipient risk determinations and coordinates with Compliance as needed.
• Maintains accurate agreement records to enable tracking of cycle time.
• Serves as institutional contact for sponsor counterparts during negotiation.
• Identifies routine agreement types for template standardization or automation.
• Maintains knowledge of agreement practice and applicable laws through ongoing development.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
