Job summary

DTSV is seeking Research Analysts to support background investigation services, records management, and pre-adjudication case research. You will gather information from petitions, applications, and open sources, evaluate data relevance, and prepare concise reports for agency review.

Responsibilities include coordinating with government personnel, handling LES information, and ensuring data integrity across systems while maintaining strict confidentiality and compliance with security standards.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of related experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship).
• Pre-employment background investigation required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on cases from diverse sources.
• Evaluate data sets and interpret relevance of data.
• Identify potential fraudulent activity related to cases.
• Maintain integrity of record-keeping systems.
• Write clear reports summarizing information gathered.
• Coordinate with agency personnel to share information.
• Handle Law Enforcement Sensitive (LES) information appropriately.
• Make phone calls to collect information and create reports.
• Analyze petitions and identify trends for future research.
