Job summary

Rocky Mountain Institute seeks a Strategic Operations Analyst - Systems & Execution to support core systems, processes, and reporting for project delivery and financial planning.

You will collaborate across Strategic Operations, FP&A, BI, and IT to ensure reliable data, smooth workflows, and effective self-service reporting. Remote-ready with multiple U.S. office locations and travel for in-person events may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Operations, Information Systems, or related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in operations, finance, systems administration, or data/reporting roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Experience building or maintaining reports.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support non-technical users.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day administration of core operational systems (Workday Projects, Adaptive Planning, Power BI).
• Assist with system updates, testing, and release management across Workday and Adaptive.
• Troubleshoot system issues and escalate to functional leads or IT partners.
• Ensure data consistency across Workday, Adaptive, and reporting tools.
• Build, maintain, and distribute reports and dashboards across Adaptive, Workday, and BI tools.
• Support project budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning in partnership with FP&A.
• Serve as first point of contact for system questions and develop user guides.
