Job summary

FCCI Services Inc. seeks an experienced Regulatory & Statistical Reporting Manager to ensure timely and accurate reporting of statistical and financial data to bureaus and state departments for all lines of commercial insurance.

The role is hands-on and leads data systems development, with collaboration across IT, Product Management, Claims, and Underwriting. Preferred location is Sarasota, FL, with possible relocation to Richardson, TX.

Qualifications

• Six or more years work experience with a commercial Property and Casualty Insurance carrier performing statistical/regulatory reporting.
• Two or more years in a supervisory role leading others in statistical/regulatory reporting.
• Ability to plan and coordinate work assignments and manage staff or matrix resources as required.
• Advanced knowledge of property & casualty insurance, workers' compensation, etc.
• Advanced knowledge of Verisk/ISO reporting, including edit package.
• Advanced knowledge of WC bureau reporting, including aggregate financial data calls, unit statistical reporting, medical data call reporting, and indemnity data call reporting.
• Strong understanding of commercial P&C regulatory reporting policies and laws.
• Experience responding to inquiries from state insurance departments and insurance bureaus, verifying and handling assessments, and developing and maintaining contact with bureau personnel.
• Must have experience researching regulatory bulletins, circulars, and data requests to prepare and submit reports for ISO, NCCI, etc.
• Must convert legal requirements into business operations and IT systems requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers.
• Knowledge of Auditing principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of statistical and financial data to bureaus and state insurance departments for all lines of commercial insurance.
• Lead and mentor staff; develop data systems and procedures for regulatory and statistical reporting.
• Collaborate with IT, Product Management, Claims, Underwriting and others to implement data solutions.
• Establish and monitor controls to ensure data quality for automated and manual filings.
• Respond to inquiries from state departments and bureaus; manage data calls and bulletins.
