Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Counsel for Regulatory Law, Government Programs, based in Washington, DC or Raritan, NJ. You will advise on procurement laws, pricing, grants, and government contracts, shaping enterprise strategy in a fast-changing regulatory environment.

The role requires a JD and bar admission, with at least seven years in healthcare and government procurement law. You will collaborate with Compliance, Audit, and senior leadership to manage risk and drive responsible innovation

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree required.
• Active bar membership in good standing (DC or other state).
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise with clear, actionable legal recommendations balancing business objectives and patient impact.
• Provide strategic counsel on federal and state government programs and procurement matters.
• Evaluate pricing, contracting, and compliance implications of complex strategies.
• Lead cross-functional legal support and collaborate with business leaders and audit teams.
• Monitor regulatory developments and advise on enterprise-wide implications.
