Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Regional Safety, Health and Environmental Manager to oversee occupational safety across assigned profit centers, enforce safety policies, and report to the Safety Director.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field with at least five years in SH&E management, plus strong Excel/Office skills and willingness to travel regionally to support branches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field; equivalent work experience accepted.
• Minimum 5 years in Safety, Health & Environmental Management Systems and safety program implementation.
• Preferred Safety Certification - OHST, CHST, SMS, GSP.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to address individuals or groups.

Responsibilities

• Prepare reports and recommend procedures to improve performance.
• Oversee safety protocols across regional branches and ensure policy adherence.
• Conduct safety compliance inspections and audits per program criteria.
• Train and guide Safety Coordinators to ensure consistent safety practices.
• Identify deficiencies, document corrective actions, and drive timely completion.
