Marathon Petroleum Company LP in Findlay, Ohio, is seeking a Planning & Optimization Advisor/Engineer to support regional and refinery planning, backcasting, and LP submodel development. You will collaborate across Operations, Commercial, Logistics and Planning to align plans and drive refinery performance.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least five years of refinery planning or related experience, with strong analytical, modeling, and stakeholder engagement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
- Four years of refinery planning, optimization, value chain analysis, operations, logistics, or related experience required.
Responsabilités
- Develops and optimizes short-term, mid-term, and lookback plans using LP models.
- Manages refinery forecasting and planning activities.
- Maintains and enhances LP models for accuracy.
- Identifies constraints and optimization opportunities.
- Performs scenario and sensitivity analyses.
- Collaborates with Operations, Commercial, Logistics, and Planning teams.
- Leads planning studies and provides guidance to colleagues.
