Job summary

Shirley Ryan AbilityLab is seeking a Recruiter to identify, screen, and hire candidates for hourly through professional roles, building a strong pipeline and maintaining candidate relationships. You will promote SRAlab at job fairs and events, coordinating interviews and contributing to a diverse, high-performing team.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 1–2 years of recruitment experience, with preferred familiarity with Workday and effective communication.

Qualifications

• Education level appropriate with what is normally gained through the acquisition of a bachelor's degree.
• Entry level to 2 years of recruitment experience with a basic understanding of sourcing strategies and behavioral interview techniques and learns to use professional concepts
• Demonstrated appropriate customer service attitudes and services in a variety of work settings.
• Workday experience preferred
• Demonstrated skills and abilities in collaborative efforts with experience in team/project oriented activities.
• Ability to relate well to people and work in cooperation with others to effectively coordinate activities.

Responsibilities

• Source, screen, interview and facilitate hiring of qualified candidates for openings.
• Assess candidate fit by conducting thorough screening utilizing tools and techniques developed/approved by recruiting management.
• Maintain key contacts and relationships with recruiting sources.
• Establish, cultivate, and maintain ongoing relationships with potential candidates to grow pool of referrals.
• Assist with implementing sourcing strategies through online resources and direct sourcing of resumes.
• Promote SRAlab at recruitment events and coordinate interviews from attendee lists.
• Develop and maintain relationships among diverse, multifunctional units throughout the organization.
• Perform all other duties that may be assigned in the best interest of Shirley Ryan AbilityLab.
