Job summary

Prime Therapeutics seeks a Rebate Operations Pharmacist to provide clinical support for rebate programs, interpret federal legislation changes, and assist with reporting and client invoicing adjustments. The role includes interfacing with leadership on regulatory changes and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.

Ideal candidates have a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, a current pharmacist license, and at least one year in pharmacy or rebate management.

Qualifications

• PharmD or Bachelor of Science Pharmacy degree is required.
• Current Pharmacist license to practice in the applicable state(s).
• 1 year work experience in Pharmacy or Pharmacy Rebate Management.
• Familiarity with State specific preferred Drug List is a plus.
• Strong communication, problem solving and analytical skills are required.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-changing environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office product suite, specifically Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME resource for Rebate Operations team regarding accuracy and reasonableness of medical and pharmacy claims.
• Support Rebate Operation and clients in gathering and completion of quarterly 64.9r reporting and ad hoc reporting; assist in pre-invoice claims reviews and invoicing activities.
• Partner with team leadership on decisions regarding Federal legislation changes, new reporting creation, and audits; ensure contractual requirements are met.
• Monitor CMS and Medicaid Drug Program guidance; provide recommendations on integration of changes.
• Partner with Account Management to support rebate trending discussions and serve as main contact for assigned clients.
• Other duties as assigned
