Job summary

Prime Therapeutics is seeking a Rebate Operations Pharmacist to support the Rebate Operations team and clients by interpreting federal legislation and its impact on state Medicaid drug rebate programs. The role requires involvement in DUR/retro-DUR and invoicing as needed, with a focus on compliance and accuracy.

Responsibilities include SME guidance on claims, quarterly 64.9r reporting, collaboration with account management, and monitoring CMS/MDP guidance for changes affecting rebates.

Qualifications

• PharmD or Bachelor of Science Pharmacy degree.
• Current Pharmacist license to practice in the applicable state(s).
• 1 year work experience in Pharmacy or Pharmacy Rebate Management.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME resource for Rebate Operations regarding claims accuracy and reasonableness.
• Support rebate reporting and invoicing activities; assist in dispute resolution as needed.
• Collaborate on implementation decisions regarding federal legislation changes and audits.
• Monitor CMS/MDP guidance and integrate changes into rebate processes.
• Partner with Account Management to support rebate trends and client inquiries.
