Job summary

Goodwill Greater Milwaukee & Chicago is seeking a Vice President of Real Estate & Property Management to lead the long-term strategy for the organization’s real estate portfolio, facilities, and asset protection.

The role oversees senior directors, partners with an external real estate services firm, and aligns real estate decisions with enterprise priorities, growth goals, and risk management to create value across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required and a minimum of 10 years’ experience.
• Experience with business continuity planning, risk management and vendor negotiation.
• Experience in navigating complex real estate markets and site selection.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own the enterprise real estate and property management strategy.
• Position the real estate portfolio to support flexibility and scalability.
• Establish governance for real estate, facilities, and asset protection.
• Oversee external real estate partner and ensure service quality.
• Lead portfolio optimization decisions including acquisitions and lease strategies.
• Provide executive updates on portfolio performance.
