Job summary

LG Chem Advance Materials, Inc. (LGCTA) is seeking a Raw Material/MRO Procurement Specialist for its team in Clarksville, TN. The position is an individual contributor role responsible for sourcing vendors and expediting the procurement of Raw materials or MRO products. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, over 3 years of procurement experience, and proficiency in negotiation and data analysis.

This full-time position requires excellent communication skills and a background in chemical industry procurement is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in raw material procurement with proficiency in international trade regulations.
• Strong negotiating and influencing skills with raw/MRO material.
• Experience in Battery, Battery Materials, or Chemical Industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue purchase orders and agreements.
• Develop and negotiate vendor contracts to ensure favorable terms and pricing.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues.
