Job summary

The role involves software implementation, testing, and productization, with travel to sponsor locations in the Beltway area and internationally as needed.

The position requires strong programming skills (Python, C++, Java, or Rust), Linux/Windows experience, and knowledge of modern development tools.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages (Python, C++, Java, Rust).
• Ability to design, implement, and maintain scalable software across full development lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of software design principles, OO design, modular architecture, and version control.
• Experience in Linux and/or Windows environments.

Responsibilities

• Apply software to programs of national or international impact by identifying challenges and opportunities.
• Ensure on-time completion of project tasks with technical excellence.
• Develop and deliver updates on program status to Fleet-level personnel.
• Interact with engineering team, sponsors, and stakeholders regularly.
• Contribute as a key member of a multidisciplinary engineering team.
