Ganymede is looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to join a respected main contractor delivering projects across education, healthcare, commercial and industrial sectors. The role focuses on managing financial and contractual performance from procurement through to final account, ensuring schemes stay on budget and on programme.

You will build strong relationships with clients and supply chain partners, contributing to a stable contractor with a strong reputation while enjoying varied project

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a main contractor or construction environment.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial processes.
• Ability to manage projects with professionalism and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Manage subcontract procurement, valuations, variations and payments.
• Prepare cost reports, forecasts and commercial updates.
• Support contract administration and ensure commercial compliance.
• Work with project teams to identify risk, protect margin and maximise value.
• Lead or support final account negotiations through to agreement.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams.
