Qualifications

• 2–3 years of purchasing experience across diverse product categories.
• Deep understanding of purchasing lifecycle, three-bid sourcing, PO management, and contract negotiation.
• Strong negotiation, organization, and problem-solving skills; detail oriented and adaptable.
• Proficiency with enterprise procurement systems (SpendMap preferred), plus advanced internet research and Microsoft Office.
• Office-based role requiring professionalism, discretion, and neat presentation.
• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's in Business or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Procurement & Order Management: Enter, process, expedite, and track purchase orders from creation to delivery using SpendMap.
• Vendor Negotiations & Cost Control: Research products, conduct three-bid sourcing, negotiate pricing with suppliers.
• Inventory & Par Level Support: Maintain optimal inventory par levels across multiple areas, focus on guest supplies and equipment.
• Vendor Relations & Invoice Reconciliation: Build relationships with suppliers and reconcile invoices and orders.
• Interdepartmental Support & Collaboration: Partner with internal departments to resolve inquiries and ensure delivery timelines.
• Accountability & Workspace Maintenance: Maintain organized PO files and vendor databases for compliance.
• Ad-Hoc Duties: Perform small projects as assigned by Purchasing Manager.
