Qualifications

• Knowledge of purchase orders, inventory control, shipping terms, and vendor negotiations.
• Experience analyzing supplier pricing, lead times, and performance.
• Experience working with vendors and cross-functional internal departments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Purchase materials, supplies, equipment, and services for operations.
• Review requisitions and specifications with internal departments.
• Request and evaluate supplier quotes based on price, quality, availability and delivery.
• Place orders within budgets and company procedures; negotiate terms.
• Monitor open orders and resolve backorders or delivery issues.
• Coordinate with Production, Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, Accounting, and Shipping.
• Maintain supplier records and support three-way matching.
