RRD is seeking a Purchasing/Materials Manager in Wisconsin to ensure an uninterrupted flow of materials, supplies, and services. You will determine suppliers, place orders, investigate alternatives, and coordinate transportation while upholding our ethical business conduct standards.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree related to the function with 3+ years of experience, strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills, and proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, JD Edwards, or

• Bachelor's degree in discipline related to function of work with 3+ years of experience
• Ability to solve moderately complex problems by analyzing variables and applying solutions
• Ability to recognize anomalies and respond appropriately
• Strong communication with internal/external customers and co-workers
• Proficiency with Windows/MAC or similar tools
• Ability to learn specialized software to complete work assignments
• Experience with integrated manufacturing systems (SAP/JD Edwards/Man-Man) is a plus
• APICS CPM or NAPM CPIM certification is desired

Responsabilidades

• Determine suppliers based on economics, quality, and service levels
• Select and order merchandise from supplier representatives
• Investigate alternate sources of supply
• Generate and approve Purchase Orders
• Coordinate transportation of purchases
• Ensure vendor performance and PO compliance
• Handle returns due to quality or delivery terms
• Maintain inventory investment at a minimum
• Maintain PO and supplier files
• Maintain Item Master integrity in records
• Support Quality Policy and Objectives
• Participate in staff meetings and required trainings
• Provide input to Materials Manager to improve operations
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
